Every once in a while I feel overwhelmed when circumstances align and I fall behind. But… my steady state is mostly feeling fine, enjoying the process, and with a little bit of resentment that I just don’t have as much time as I’d like to study. Accepting that it will be slow was a barrier I had to get through in order to not feel overwhelmed by taking on more than I had time for, and not feel underwhelmed by my progress. I really wish I could study 5 hours a day. I try to resist calculating how long it will take me to get to 1000 hours of cijapanese when I struggle to get in 20 minutes a day lol.
You don’t have to watch all of them. For example I got to the point where complete beginner videos felt way too slow and simplistic so I moved on to beginner.
