More area-specific traditions/culture differences and festivals?

I’d be interested in more videos about specific areas and prefectures in Japan. Really anything from things that are silly/fun to places that are important would be super interesting. Stuff that can’t really be found in other parts of Japan.

I have in mind stuff like the Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival or Lucky Pierrot, Iwatayama Monkey Park, and the Peace Memorial Park and Museum in Hiroshima. Also lesser known sites or attractions would be awesome.

I’m not sure how difficult or feasible this would be as far as researching all of these areas goes but I would love to see things like this!

Also I would love to learn about the different mascots throughout Japan!

Edit: Oh also the history of different areas as well. I’m most interested in Hokkaido, so stuff about the Ainu would be real interesting, but would love to learn more about Japan in general. Maybe some of the favorite places the teachers have visited over the years?

Ah you’re right, a lot of the stuff I was thinking of is already there! I should have checked more thoroughly!

I guess I really just want to learn more about Hokkaido mostly lol. Japan in general is super interesting to me but Hokkaido in particular seems to have such a unique history compared to some other places. :star_struck:
