Topic Request: 1995 Tokyo Subway Sarin Attacks

I think it’d be interesting to make a video on the 1995 Tokyo Subway attacks - its founder, the different factors that influenced people into joining the cult, the motivations for the attack and what happened out of it.

I know that this is a very much disturbing topic but it’d be really interesting to hear from a Japanese perspective on the attack, especially the conditions surrounding the formation of the cult, and reasons as to why people joined it in the first place.

I hope this is not too insensitive of a request :sweat_smile:.

I also think this is a very interesting topic. Just in case that you don’t know there also is a book from Murakami Haruki on the subject, called「アンダーグラウンド」 (Underground), where he published several interviews with victims of the incident and also some former A-UN members. It has been translated to multiple languages and is a very interesting read.

Also Kei先生 featured the topic in an episode of his podcast.
