I realized the words “oishii” and “kawaii” are used in nearly every vlog I see on Youtube. So, it is hard to learn other words with the same meaning.
For example when one describes food how would one describe the taste a bit more precisely? (deepness, richness, consistency, smells, etc)
The same for places or items which are beautiful. What are other options to describe items or places instead of “kawaii”? (idyllic, harmonic, peaceful, vibrant places etc)
I hope that I could inspire a new or multiple videos!
This has been on my mind too. I am also interested to learn about more nuanced language referring to taste. Whereas in English we have ‘tasty’ ‘flavorful’ ‘appetizing’ ‘scrumptious’ etc I always just hear 美味しい. I’m with you in hoping we get a video about it!
Thank you for the suggestion! I agree that the adjectives we use to describe items or tastes in our videos are limited. I’ll share this with the other teachers and we’ll try to use wider variety of adjectives in the future videos😊
