Yesterday I found myself wondering if I would be able to understand one of my favorite songs if I read the lyrics, and sure enough I was able to understand a lot of it! It was already one of my favorites before I understood it, and I intentionally didn’t look up translations so I could use it as a goal. Being able to understand as much as I did without the middle-man so to speak, and also realizing how beautiful the song actually was, made me very emotional and excited.
I’m not sure if this is the kind of post to be making in this category, or if it’s more to do with passing tests and such, but I wanted to share what I considered a win
